POPE JOHN PAUL II TOWER - BACOLOD CITY

Inspired and named after a late Pope of Vatican City and former leader of Catholic Religion, Pope John Paul II.




This 7-floor tower, situated at Rizal Ave. Reclamation Area at the back of SM-Bacolod. This structure build through the dedication of City Government of Bacolod after he visited for the celebration of Holy Eucharist in 1981.
Every Floors of tower composed of Photos of late pope, paintings from fine arts students of La Consolation College, and some memorabilia of late pope after he visited in province.


























From SM-Bacolod, you can walk for just 3-minutes. It's at the back of Mall. If you been there, you have to paid the entrance fee for just P20 for Students and P25 for regular person.

From ground floor.
From 2nd to fourth floor you will see the art paintings of artistic students of La Consolation College some of their paintings are the crucifixion of Christ at the Cross, others are paintings of his good deeds.

And in 5th floor you will see a life-sized of Pope John Paul, he is standing at the middle of stairs when you go up or when you go down.
In 6th and 7th floor, you will see some of memorabilia of late pope and some of photos when he visited the province.

At rooftop, you will see a big cross at top, and you will see the whole Bacolod area (almost) and the island of Panay. You can see it very wonder when Sunny Day.
